The mission in Ivory Coast will last two weeks. One week of mission work in a village and about five days for rest & site seeing.
Daily activities during the mission in the village include visiting families in their homes, catechesis with children, simple home repairs & First Aid skills.
You will experience a whole new world! Ivory Coast life is centered around the village & the family.
They love community, laughter, simple food and dancing.
Beside the week in the village, missionaries will have time to tour Abidjan: the zoo, botanical gardens, & boat ride as well as visit the National Basilica which is the largest dome in the world!
Meet Mama and Papa Coulibaly, the local Regnum Christi leaders and mission sponsors. They are so happy to prepare everything for the missionaries!
Deacon Dain, a Legionary who regularly visits the Ivory Coast, shares how to prepare for a mission in Africa.
Fabienne and Brice, the local mission team, welcome missionaries to the Ivory Coast & share a little of what life is like there.
